American Ice Theatre (AIT) is a nonprofit artistic figure skating organization and professional company with programs in multiple locations across the country. AIT works to empower and nurture contemporary skating by creating opportunities for both education and performance. We are committed to including skaters of all ages, levels, and economic backgrounds, and to helping skaters everywhere develop a healthy, holistic view of themselves and their lifelong journey in skating. Contemporary skating is an artistic approach to figure skating that blends skating skills with expressive choreography, modern dance movement, and improvisation techniques. Our AIT Boston Professional Company is an ensemble made up of local, contemporary skaters who have trained in many of these creative and non-traditional dance techniques. American Ice Theatre Boston is directed & choreographed by Kate McSwain & Gillian Robidas. The 2026 AIT Boston Professional Company Members include Brittany Ballard, Taryn Brandt, Toby Evett, Dawn Dupere, Alanna Kubik, Hannah Laird, Natalie Robb, Lauren Gizinski, Torie Wojick, Alexa DerBoghosian, Zoey Janusz, Natalia Gregorio, Eleanor Li, Kyla Dolan, Meghan LaPointe, Natalie Schoonover, and Sadie Lee.
